Tucker Nichols is an artist based in Northern California whose work takes many forms: paintings, drawings, sculptures, mail art, books and installations. His work has been featured at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the Denver Art Museum, Den Frie Museum in Copenhagen, and the Asian Art Museum in San Francisco. Tucker Nichols: Almost Everything On The Table, marked his first major exhibition of sculpture at the Aldrich Contemporary Art Museum in Ridgefield, CT.
His drawings have been published in The New Yorker, The New York Review of Books, McSweeney's, and the Op-Ed pages of The New York Times. He is co-author of the books, Crabtree (with Jon Nichols) and This Bridge Will Not Be Gray (with Dave Eggers), and author of Flowers for Things I Don’t Know How to Say (Chronicle Books, 2024) and Mostly Everything: The Art of Tucker Nichols (McSweeney’s, 2025).
